Having been asked to do the cover for Tito Perdue's latest novel, and having since met the author, it seemed appropriate that I also write a review. The Node, a mixture of literary and science fiction and comedy, is set in dysfunctional America later this century, where present trends have been allowed to reach their logical consequences.
